Our Responsibility to Community
Since its inception, Kinyonga Tours and Safaris has been aware of the need for sharing benefits realized from our tour operations with the Tanzania community. Being a Tanzanian company, “born and raised in Tanzania”, we have the obligation to contribute to the well being of the Tanzania community which we are part of. Over the years we have tried to quietly support the local community in our own small way, with no intention whatsoever for publicity. Our support was, and still is, directed towards, education and the environment.
Kinyonga Tour and Safaris is committed to responsible tourism. Our company is dedicated to the sustainability of the natural environment and well being of the people of Africa. In our effort to operate an Eco-friendly business, we have partnered with several local schools and conservation organizations in Africa to help promote conservation, environmental awareness, and community involvement in a way that is fun and educational.
Our Educational Centres
Kinyonga Tour and Safaris have built TWO educational centers in Marangu on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro about 90 kilometers from Arusha town and another in Moshi town. These educational centers for kids are available for all in need, and for those who are completely unable to pay for their tuition fee.
This is an arrangement which makes it possible for those disadvantaged to be able to access to a good education. We believe in giving back to the communities that share their homeland with us.
